Dr James Knox
James is an enthusiastic, positive, and approachable psychologist who is passionate about both sport and mental wellbeing. In session, he takes a practical and collaborative approach, encouraging a ‘have-a-go’ mindset. His aim is to make therapy engaging, useful, and tailored to individual circumstances.
James works with clients of all ages and has extensive experience supporting children and adolescents. He supports individuals across a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict as well as emotional and behavioural regulation challenges. He is passionate about assisting athletes, both young and old, to achieve their potential and recognises the critical role mental health and wellbeing plays in achieving one’s best.
Outside of work, James competes in triathlon and endurance sports and enjoys all forms of sport and exercise.
